¡Feliz Navidad!

...from us to you.

love

I can't quite figure it out, but I just love these 3 photos. I'm still working on the rest of the pictures from Matt and Elsie's wedding, but every time I fire up the old computer I find myself looking at these images. Something about them draws me in every time. Maybe it's the gorgeous models, maybe it's the vintage tones, maybe it's just me being weird...
Regardless, I wanted to share!

Matt + Elsie

For the second year in a row, Jesse and I decided to forgo shopping on Black Friday in lieu of attending a wedding! This one was extra special to us because the groom was Jesse's big brother!

Matt and Elsie were sealed at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple in Utah and were fortunate enough to have lots of family and friends there to celebrate with them. They were joined by the same bunch later that evening at the Highland Gardens for their reception. Talk about gorgeous! From beginning to end, it was clear that Elsie (and Matt!) thought about every little detail. It must have been lots and lots of work - but I think it paid off!

The best part, next to witnessing the union of two wonderful people, was getting to meet and visit with both sides of the family. I already knew I loved the McDonalds, but now I love the Lopez family too! Matt and Elsie could not possibly be more blessed.

It's easy to see why Matt loves Elsie, huh? Stunning!

Now that you've seen my pictures, I've got to give credit where credit's due. I was super fortunate to work with Chris McClain: videographer to the stars! He is beyond talented and just the coolest person to work with. My only complaint is that he's based out of Utah. What are us Pennsylvanians to do?! My Big Fat Italian Wedding

There is nothing I love more than families who love each other and honor family traditions. The wedding of Lisa and Daniel had the things I love.... and so much more! When I wasn't crying along with the family during the emotional ceremony and toasts, I was laughing my head off at the wild antics of a group of people so happy they couldn't hold it in!

As things were winding down at the end of the night, a guest stopped me and said, "You know, this really was more than just a marriage of two people. It was a marriage of two families."

Judging from the dance floor, these families are a perfect match. Thank you to Lisa, Daniel, and the rest of the family for welcoming Jesse and me in to your group. We had so much fun!

Aren't they just too cute? I'm telling you, Daniel and Lisa are fabulous people. They make you happy just being around them. The whole night long, I kept looking at Jesse and saying, "I love them!" I couldn't get over it!

Rather than cake, Daniel and Lisa opted for a flambe show as their desert. It was so cool... and delicious!

I don't know when it happened or how it happened, but when these families let loose, they were non-stop crazy! Jesse and I have never witnessed such madness... and we loved every single second of it!

Couldn't Resist

There's not much time to update, but I just had to share a few photos of two little girls I happen to think are as cute as a box full of newborn kittens! They're the children of two of my oldest friends. I'm so thankful to be able to photograph them whenever I want, even if they don't feel the same way!

Her eyes are really like this. No tricks here. They're naturally mesmerEYEzing! :)

During my quick visit I learned that the closet is one of their favorite places to hang out. Maybe we should all give it a try!

The Circus

When my sister and I showed up for this photoshoot, we were greeted with the words, "Welcome to the circus!" Truer words have never been spoken! I seriously don't think I've ever worked so hard for a photo before!! Talk about energy!!

Despite the hard work, it was a really fun afternoon with a bunch of super cute kids! And, thankfully, we got at least 1 photo of everyone together and happy!

And you remember this little cutie, right?? She's grown so much!

Whose that lady?

This is to show off the mad skillz of my assistant photographer/boyfriend. I asked for a few new shots that I could use on my blog. Problem is, I'm a really super bad model which means he had his work cut out for him. Sorry, it's just that I am used to being behind the camera. Modeling is not my thing.

What amazes me is that I actually like some of these photos and we all know that it's hard to like photos of yourself.

Jesse, you're a miracle worker. Thank you for making me look good enough that I don't mind sharing these with the world.

It all started as just a quick snapshot in the front yard. I wasn't very cooperative...but Jesse worked his magic and soon enough I was ready to unleash my inner Tyra.

That was it. Sad a little? I swear I tried, but that's as fierce as it gets for this chica. The rest are just normal old me... captured beautifully by Jesse.
